Thursday morning breakfast experiment

Well, at least it came out 95% in one piece, which is better than the muffin crumbly bits I brought to work last Thursday for breakfast. Hopefully it tastes as good!

Only 4 or 5 cups of raspberries left to use up. And why is there glaze in my ear?

  1. The coffee cake looks delicious! Do you know you let things like that cool in the pan 10 or 15 minutes, then turn out? They will crumble if very hot and turned out. Have you frozen any berries? Mom

  2. I let it cool for awhile, but not too long or it will stick to the pan. I don’t think we’ve frozen any berries yet this year.

  3. I had the same question as Diane…..froze any? I have been making smoothies lately out of fruit, yogurt, and milk or juice. They are very refreshing and cooling after working outside in the oppressive heat and humidity here in Georgia. BUT, yesterday my blade in the blender froze up. Chris will take a look at it today. AND the coffee cake looks sinfully delicious, wish I were there to sample it.
