Now that Anya has a new room, and we almost have a new room, the kitties said they want a new room. We don’t have many rooms in this house, so we decided to build a new room for the kitties. Since my parents really, really think the kitties need a room of their own, they decided to give us our Christmas, Birthday, Anniversary, St. Patrick’s Day, and Flag Day gifts for the next ten years all at once.
Kitty Room Part I: The Floor
Eventually, we’ll close in the slab part and make the Kitty Room.
Awwww a kitty room. But what does that mean exactly? Kind of like a kitty viewing area or a kitty petting zoo?
It’ll be a place to put kitty boxes! Perhaps we’ll feed them down there, too, to help them get used to using the kitty door we’ll install to let them go in and out. Plus that would free up space in the kitchen. We may also have plants in there if we can find a way to keep the kitties from eating the plants, and depending on this, that, and the other, we may make a little spot for bunnies to run around.
Cool, looking good.
