I agree with Laz. Incredible, amazing, the miracle of life. Hope Mom and baby are doing well this morning. Hope it wasn’t too much of an ordeal for anyone, humans included.
I grew up on a farm and I would sometimes help the cows give birth and watching those little calves be born are some of the most wonderful memories of my childhood. Although why they always have to give birth at 3 in the morning is a mystery to me.
Everyone at work who has had animals (sheep, horses, cows, etc) says they always pick the worst time to give birth. At night, during a storm, when it’s freezing out, whatever. They just KNOW.
Congratulations!! How incredible and amazing I can’t wait to hear all about it. I’m glad the gloves came in handy.

Wow! I’m so in awe of you all helping with the lambing!
As soon as Catie saw the picture, she started reciting ‘Baa Baa Black Sheep.’ Heh.

Awwwww!
3 in the morning, not unlike human babies, eh?
