Cabol painted the dresser (it matched the bedroom in the old house a lot better). I believe it originally was just a really cheap wood veneered find at a thrift store. It is probably the heaviest piece of furniture we own, as anyone who has helped us moved knows.

It’s actually more likely that it is a northern ring-necked, since the southern ones tend to be more of a coastal snake.
