Even if it doesn&#039;t sound like any word -you&#039;d- use for something, if she always says &#039;ta&#039; for &#039;cat&#039; (for example), that&#039;s usually a sign that things are on the right track, if a little behind. I&#039;m sure your speech person will be able to tell you more and er, a little more professionally, and with some education to back it up.]]></description>
