Good luck on finding the right bra, though I'd totally forget Wal-Mart. Every time I've bought clothes there, I've regretted it (and hence, have ceased). They always fit weird and go to crap in a short amount of time. And one thing you don't want is an uncomfortable bra. What about a place like Sears or JC Penney?

I know that shouldn't be funny...but it is! I guess you can't pop your boob into the microwave to defrost it, eh? Heeee! I wanted to let you know that my quest for a bra was not successful last night. Target had quite a few nursing bras, but I guess fat ladies aren't allowed to have non-giganto bosoms. I checked out the Lane Bryant and saw a few possibilities, but I think I'm gonna scope out WalMart tonight.

Hey. They have some nifty wool breast pads here that women wear in addition to (or maybe instead of, but I always wore them with) the absorbant breast pads during the winter. It helps keep your boobs warm so that the milk doesn't freeze inside your boob. It doesn't happen to every one of course, but it can help keep away the dreaded mastitis. Let me know if you are still nursing when the weather turns cold and I'll send you a pair.

Rabbits do that same POW thing. Rabbits are groovy. Lambs are groovy. Bras are .. well, I dunno about that. I think it would be incredibly groovy to see 10,000,000,000 lambs. Three is neat, but a whole herd of them suddenly taking off and bounding and leaping and kerferpulling! It's such a good thing lambs grow up to be incredibly dull sheep because otherwise no one would eat lamb and we'd soon be overrun by sheep. Rabbits, however, never grow up to be incredibly dull...which is why Australia is overrun by them. At least that's my theory.

Or maybe even one of those fun and dramatic clasp-in-front bras? Or a demi bra since those your boob is almost popping out of anyway? I have no idea really.

The frisky lambs are so cute! I used to love watching them leap and play in NZ, since there are 10,000,000,000 lambs there. It would be weird, they'd be very slowly and quietly eating and suddenly *POW* they'd leap straight up into the air and start galloping, as if prodded by an electric...prod.

Oooo. Thank you for the suggestion. There is a Lane Bryant right next to Target, so I'll check both places. I was thinking that if I couldn't find a nursing bra I could maybe find an amply-sized sports bra or something that would work. Ha ha. Andy gets to go bra shopping with me!

Hi! I can't believe it's so close for you!

I had 2 nursing bras (and I think my mom bought them at Wal-mart, but I'm not sure, as I was having trouble finding them in my size here in a store I could actually afford and still eat), but to tell the truth, the bras I used the most, were just bras I bought from Lane Bryant the last time I'd been in the States. They were cotton/lycra bras, underwire, but I don't like underwire, so I'd taken those out when I got them. Then, when I nursed, I just lowered the bra to under my boob and lifted my boob out. They were pretty comfortable. I even got them off the clearance rack at LB! Heh. I think they were like these: http://lanebryant.charmingshoppes.com/pagebuilder/lane_bryant_product_page?item=8916199&pagesize=3 but it's hard to tell in pictures. Anyways, you could wear these comfortably after you have quit nursing as well, so a better deal. :) That's just my suggestion, but you might not find them comfortable at all.
