Everyone at work who has had animals (sheep, horses, cows, etc) says they always pick the worst time to give birth. At night, during a storm, when it’s freezing out, whatever. They just KNOW.

I grew up on a farm and I would sometimes help the cows give birth and watching those little calves be born are some of the most wonderful memories of my childhood. Although why they always have to give birth at 3 in the morning is a mystery to me.
